It all started with the name
ELENEL was created in the pursuit of making something unique. With creativity and with personal effort, the goal for the future is to combine multiple art forms to push the boundaries of ad making and to create something impactful, meaningful and timeless by visually attracting viewers to the ELENEL fashion brand and make the respected consumers feel comfortable in wearing our clothes. To be accessible for every human.
Before ELENEL was starting to strongly form and go towards the direction of being a fashion brand, it all started with the name of the brand.
After finishing my shift from work on a late summer night, i waited for 15-20 minutes to clock out and head home, i sat on a nearby bench outside to relax and gather myself. The usual thoughts that i have had, occupied my mind that summer night just as they have occupied my mind for many years. What is my purpose? What will my legacy be? What is it that i am meant to put out? I felt deeply in my soul, intuitively and have since i was a child that i was meant to go outside the "norm", to do something different. I am not saying i think i'm special or unique as i think all of us are unique in our own way, i was just in pursuit of finding my carreer path and finding my authenticity. Wanting to get out of the box and NOT wanting to live a life based on other people's inauthenticity.
As i was sitting on the bench and thinking the usual thoughts that i had for a long time before, suddenly ideas came to mind. My name is Luka, my long time girlfriend and wife to be name is Lora. What if i had a brand? What would the name of the brand be? It would have to be memorable, sharp and on point. What if i combined our names? Lora, Luka, Luka, Lora. L&L? No, that's not it. LL? No. So i played with our names not thinking too seriously and then i thought to myself, wait, i like the pronounciation of L&L but not the look of it. Maybe i should call it the way it is pronounced and play with the words? Then i opened the notes app on my phone and wrote down ELENEL. I liked the name so much i just knew that was it. Step by step other ideas came to mind and ELENEL's path started to reveal itself and still is.

ELENEL collections are released in seasonal volumes. This allows me to maintain focus, reduce excess, and ensure that every piece serves a clear purpose within the collection.
